Every answer about your event, traced to a source you approved.
EventDesk is a conversational agent for event organizers. Attendees, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors ask it questions, and it answers only from the information you have loaded and approved, citing the source each time.
Attendee asks: Is there a reduced fee for students?
Attendee asks: Can I bring a guest to the closing dinner?
The problem
An organizer's office answers the same questions all day, and the right answer keeps moving.
The same questions, many times a day
Close to an event, the office receives many messages a day. Most are variants of questions that already have a published answer.
Last month's answer can be wrong today
Fees, deadlines and regulations sit on the website and in PDFs and change as the event approaches. A reply that was correct last month can be wrong now.
Nobody knows everything
Staff work by department. A message that mixes topics gets partial answers from several people, days apart, and the person has to follow up.
The cost is staff hours, slow and uneven replies, and the risk of a confident wrong answer about money or dates.
How it works
It only knows what you have approved.
-
Load and approve your sources
The event website and your documents, each with a date. Your team owns what the agent knows and can see it at any time.
-
People ask in plain language
They get an answer with the source it came from. If no approved source holds the answer, it says so and points them to the right department.
-
Your team sees what is missing
Every question it could not answer is recorded, so the team knows what to add next.
Who it is for
For professional congress organizers, and for associations that run their own events.
The people who ask
Attendees and prospective attendees, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors. They ask on the event website or on a standalone page, without signing in.
The organizer's team
Staff register the sources, see what the agent knows, and work through the list of questions it could not answer. Each department is the contact for its own topics.
The first version
Public information only, and no personal data.
What it does
- Answers from the organizer's public, approved information, with the source cited.
- Says when it does not know, and names the department to contact.
- Records every question it could not answer.
What it leaves out on purpose
- Every asker is anonymous. Nobody is identified.
- No personal data is used or disclosed.
- Questions about a person's own record, such as their registration, go to the department that holds it.
Status
In development, with a first organizer.
The first version is being built with a professional congress organizer that runs medical, scientific and academic congresses.
